White House calls it "vile" Comments by RFK Jr. To protect Jews and Chinese; COVID-19 was "ethnically targeted."

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s remarks about COVID-19 being genetically modified to spare Jews and Chinese people received harsh criticism from press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Monday. She called his comments "vile."

On Monday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre criticized Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for saying that COVID-19 was genetically modified to spare Jews and Chinese people, calling his remarks "vile" and "an attack on our fellow citizens."

"The statements on the recording are untrue. That isn't very good. When a reporter questioned if Kennedy's remarks had any place in the Democratic Party during the daily White House press conference, Jean-Pierre said, "And they put us. They put our fellow Americans in danger."

"Saying those kinds of things is an attack on our fellow citizens, our fellow Americans if you consider the racist and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories that result from saying those kinds of things. She added that when we hear such statements stated more widely, it is crucial that we essentially speak up.

The presidential candidate said last week that he didn't know whether the virus was "deliberately targeted" but that "papers out there show the racial or ethnic differential and impact" on various groups. Kennedy's comments were made during a dinner in New York City and were first reported by The New York Post.

"There is a claim that it targets specific ethnic groups. According to him, COVID-19 targets particular races disproportionately. "COVID-19 is intended to strike both Caucasians and African-Americans. Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people are the most immune.

As many Americans across the nation experienced the loss of loved ones due to the pandemic, Jean-Pierre said it was "important" to recognize this. She then cited the American Jewish Committee, which referred to the claim that COVID was designed to protect Jews and Chinese people as "deeply offensive and incredibly dangerous."

"Every facet of these remarks mirrors some of the most heinous anti-Semitic conspiracy theories in history and adds to the frightening growth of anti-Semitism in our day and age. Therefore, this is something that this president and the entire government would oppose, she said.

"We will continue to speak out when you hear these false charges about Asian Americans or Jews in America. And we think that The dignity of our fellow Americans must be upheld. Respect for our fellow Americans is crucial, she continued.

The Post reports that Kennedy also said that the United States was "developing ethnic bioweapons" and that the Chinese were "spending hundreds of millions of dollars developing ethnic bioweapons.

On social media, Kennedy criticized the Post, calling the report "mistaken," and posted a link to a research that described the various impacts COVID-19 has on persons of multiple ethnicities.

The [New York Post] article is inaccurate. Kennedy added, "I have never asserted that the COVID-19 virus was explicitly chosen to protect Jews.

According to a 2021 study of the COVID-19 virus, certain races appear to be disproportionately affected by the virus because the furin cleave docking site is most compatible with Blacks and Caucasians and least compatible with ethnic Chinese, Finns, and Ashkenazi Jews, he wrote. "I accurately pointed out — during an off-the-record conversation — that the U.S. and other governments are developing ethnically targeted bioweapons."

In that regard, it acts as a proof of concept for bioweapons targeting specific ethnic groups. I don't think the ethnic impact was purposefully created, and I never claimed that it was," he said.
