'Motivating myself' to lead Ravens back to the Super Bowl, Lamar Jackson says in response to critiques

Lamar Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP, has yet to guide the Baltimore Ravens to a Super Bowl victory, a fact that critics often highlight.

Many of his detractors attribute his postseason struggles to his playing style, claiming that his remarkable rushing abilities fade during high-pressure moments in the playoffs.

In a conversation with Adam Schein on Mad Dog Sports Radio, Jackson shrugged off the negative comments, including those from former players.

"I motivate myself because I know my goals," Jackson said. "I don't pay attention to the criticism or what others say. I just came back from a season-ending injury and still helped lead the team to the AFC Championship Game in a new system. That's an achievement. We haven't reached that point in years, so there's no reason to feel down.

"We just need to keep pushing forward. With God's will, we'll get there. That's our objective. We are our own toughest critics, so what others say doesn't bother us. They can have their opinions, but we know what we're working toward."
